Located to the north-west of the town of Elvas is Estalagem Quinta de Santo António with 30 comfortable guest rooms furnished in period style. Orignally an estate farm and surrounded by acres of gardens and water features is has been respectfully renovated and now offers guests a peaceful base from which to explore the interesting surrounding area with its culture and cuisine.
All rooms at Quinta have free wireless internet access and most of the guests rooms are facing the magnificent gardens and its fountains. There is also a restaurant, a large outdoor pool, tennis court and a games room.
Quinta de Santo Antonio retains many of its original features, including a private chapel that was built in 1715.
