The Hotel is located over the beach in the small coastal town of
Ericeira which is only 40 kms to the north of Lisbon. The building
was completely rebuilt in 2002 on the site of a former hotel.
All 202 bedrooms of Hotel Vila Galé Ericeira are
air-conditioned and have direct dial telephone, satellite TV, room
safe, mini-bar. The restaurant "Ocidental" provides
appetising meals whilst the outdoor seawater pool is serviced by a
snack bar. Further facilities include conference rooms, a card room,
a Fitness Centre equipped with a gym, sauna, steam baths and a Jacuzzi. In
the season there is organised children's entertainment, a playground
and parking.
The small coastal town of Ericeira is a chosen destination for many
"Lisbonites" as the local restaurants serve a daily selection
of very fresh fish and shellfish.
