This 4 Star Vila Galé Hotel Clube de Campo & Country Resort is situated next to the Roxo Dam and is approximately 19 kilometres to the southwest of the historic town of Beja. The property is an estate of 1.620 hectares which allows visitors to enjoy a true sense of rural space. The idea of the Resort is to present the concept of holidays with direct contact to Portuguese nature and country life. There are 78 rooms and 3 junior suites, all with balconies, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, safe, radio and modem/fax connection. Some rooms are prepared for disabled guests.

Leisure facilities include an indoor heated pool, outdoor swimming pools for adults and children, children's playground, games room, gym, tennis court and a nearby bull ring. Other facilities include snooker, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, gymnasium and mini-golf.

Outdoor activities include horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, mountain bike, 4-wheel motor bikes, walking, fishing, and several outdoor Portuguese traditional games.

There is a restaurant serving regional cuisine, vegetarian and special diabetic dishes. In the evening there is a friendly Bar and perhaps a game of snooker!
