Pousada de São Francisco

The former 13th century Franciscan Convent located in the centre of the historical Alentejo town of Beja has been converted into a Pousada. The alterations have been carefully applied so as to incorporate the mystic charm of the original structure with the standards of comfort required by holiday travellers. Here a guest can enjoy well prepared Portuguese cuisine under the vaulted roof of what was once the refractory of the monks. There thirty rooms and for the convenience of guests there is a swimming pool and tennis court.

The Pousada is approximately 140 kms. from Lisbon Airport.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
