The Alvormar Apartments is small friendly complex of only 45 apartments set on a high point within the village of Alvôr and in a very convenient location for holiday families. Guests have the choice of many restaurants and bars within an easy walking distance, whilst the vast long sandy beach is only 750 metres away.
There are 45 One-Bedroom comfortable apartments . All are very adequately furnished for families to enjoy their sunny holidays with ease and with beach, food and night life, in the charm of this old Portuguese fishing village which has not yet been spoilt by many new modern buildings. There is an abundance of restaurants offering local traditional dishes with fresh fish, besides other cuisines from the UK, India, China, Germany, Italy and Indonesia. Bars are plentiful with many catering specially for guests from England and Ireland.
The well kept complex has an attentive friendly reception, a small bar, a games room, an Internet service and a library room. There is also a small garden and a pool for guests which are serviced by a snack-bar. A paddling pool and play area for small children and electronic games room for the older ones. There is also a massage room offering a variety of specialised treatments for ladies and men. On the top floor terrace, play mini-golf whilst enjoying the great panoramic view of the sea and the Lagos Bay.
There are 8 golf courses within a radius of 15 kilometres making this also an excellent location for golfing parties. The village of Alvôr has many small souvenir shops and supermarkets. There is public transport from the village to the commercial town of Portimão which is only some 10 minutes drive by car.
