The 4 Star Hotel MAR de AR Muralhas has 91 comfortable rooms spread over its two floors and this includes 6 suites. Two rooms are prepared for disabled guests.

All rooms are fully equipped with air-conditioning, direct telephoning, satellite TV, video channels, Internet connection (Wi-Fi), Pay TV and a mini-bar. Underground parking is charged and outdoor parking is available.

It’s 'Cerca Nova” Restaurant under the direction of its Chef António Nobre, provides a modern appetising 'à la carte' menu of Alentejo typical dishes – these regional cuisine enjoy fame amongst the Portuguese and the many visitors to Portugal.

Sometimes the restaurant also offers a buffet style lunch. The 'Café dos Mercadores Bar' offers an attractive and comfortable ambience with an informal terrace for a drink or a light meal overlooking the small garden and swimming pool area.

This Hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the Alentejo and visit the many vineyards to taste the different wines in their “Adegas”. Upon returning from your travels you can either dine in the “Cerca Nova” or use one of the excellent and famous restaurants for which Évora is renown - are all within walking distance.

Restaurant Cerca Nova serves traditional Portuguese cuisine as well as international meals. Soak up the sun on the sun terrace or enjoy a drink at the pool bar. Café dos Mercadores radiates a cosy atmosphere in which guests can listen to music while relaxing in front of the fireplace

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

All children from 6 to 11 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 32.00 per night and person for extra beds.
